What is a Dessert Table?

A dessert table is a gorgeous display of delicious desserts designed to be an absolute show stopper for your event. Dessert tables are perfect for Weddings, Corporate Events, and Parties.


What is a Candy Buffet?

As with the dessert table, a candy buffet is custom designed for your event and great emphasis is placed on creating the perfect colour wave for you. They feature lollies/candy only and are a sweet treat for your guests.


Don’t we already have dessert at a wedding? Why would I want a dessert table or candy buffet?

Dessert tables and candy or sweets buffets are the hottest trend in events right now. There is no limit to what we can create for you. They are a beautiful way to compliment your wedding or party, and allow your guests to mingle and delight at the feast before them.

Planning a wedding or party takes meticulous detail and sometimes dessert does not get the attention it deserves.

A dessert table is the perfect opportunity to leave a lasting impression on your guests.

Our gorgeous candy buffets and dessert tables both capture and compliment the mood and theme of your event and is the perfect end to the perfect party.

A Dessert table, Candy or sweets buffet replaces the standard one or two choice dessert that are the norm at most events. Alternatively you can have a favour bar for your guests to select from and take home in customized bags.

All of our dessert tables, candy/sweets buffets can include custom labels and favour bags that add an even more personalized touch.


What are my choices of desserts, lollies and candy?

We source our lollies and candy from all over the world, so there is an amazing choice available. Some include ribbon candy; rock candy; customized m&m’s; chocolate varieties and many more. Our desserts are hand picked from the best suppliers in Sydney. We pride ourselves in keeping up to date with pastry chefs who are at the top of their field so that we can provide you and your guest with the most amazing desserts imaginable.


Do you set up and collect all dessert table items?

Yes. LouLou Events will attend your event location and bring our tables, gorgeous apothecary jars and platters and create your bespoke table. We will arrive 2 hours prior to commencement of your event to set up, and then will return to clear away. Any remaining lollies, candy or desserts will be packaged up for you to enjoy.


Who is responsible for breakages?

Accidents do happen. We source our glassware, cake stands and platters worldwide and hand pick each piece. A valid credit card is required to cover any breakages or missing items.


Do you do children’s parties?

Yes. We love creating parties for children and you can see a sample selection in our gallery.

We’ll begin our relationship by speaking with you or meeting with you to better understand you and your event. As every person is different we feel this is a vital part of the process. During this consultation we will discuss your budget, the style of event you’re hosting, as well as some of your personal loves and dislikes. This provides us with inspiration to design a table just for you.

Once you’re happy to proceed we with require a 25% deposit in order to confirm your booking with all remaining monies payable 1 month prior to the event date.
