This is the last of the holiday posts! This post is dedicated to the amazing farm stay in the North of Italy. The Agriturismo (meaning agriculture and tourism)

We spent a few nights at a picturesque Agriturismo in the north of Italy (Mantello), it was such a pretty place to be. Everything we ate was grown, reared or made on the farm, including the cheese, cured meats, butter and bread. The children were able to see and touch the animals as well as learn how cheese was made. There were cows to milk and most importantly fresh gelato to indulge in! A high recommendation for anyone with a young family. Agriturismo’s are dotted all over Italy.
